recently a mate just bought a pair of simmons and i was wondering if i could use his 15 or 16 inch trx rims on my stock 12 datto wat modifications would need to be done for this to be able to work

As long as he gives you the wheel nuts that go with them, you will be able to fit them...and they should be 15" I think....hmmm.

You will need the special TRX wheel nuts though.

wont fit onto stock drum brake front end, and wont fit onto 120y disk brake front end.
you need sunny or stanza front end to make it work.

yeah, there a 15... but they dont fit onto a sunny front stock, not on mine anyway stanza struts would be the go

stanza struts are exactly the same as sunny struts except stanza's have girlocks. you must have 120y struts. my ute has sunny struts and takes trx rims with 195/50's with about 3mm clearance, no rubbing on struts.

Spacers are dodgey not to mention illegal. They increase the risk of snapping wheel studs. You could get away with it though,but changing to the sunny/stanza disk set up isn't that hard nor expensive(I was quoted $120 for the parts needed)plus the car will stop better!
