I dont think anyone does conversion kits but you can buy modified tunnels to weld in and i have been told theres no need for any firewall work.
Before u start though speak to the engineer who will be doing it because as i said only 2 of 3 engineers said yes

I think that all this change will do is cost most owners more money. If every +15% car requires an engineers report then thats a substantial oncost for the owner.
There is the bonus of SR20DET fitments but they are both time consuming and expensive so obviously not a viable option for all.
As Beatz has mentioned - you should involve your engineer AT THE PLANNING STAGE because if you do it that way your engineer is going to be a happy man. I have seen plenty of cars turn up for engineering and most fail unless the engineer has had imput right from the word go.
It payes off in the long run to discuss the options with an engineer before picking up a grinder or TIG and comencing any mods.

It can cost from about $200 up depending on time the engineer has to spend looking at and discussing your vehicle with you.

well this has been the law in vic for 2 years now, how evr 3yrs ago they droped it from 155 to 10%... so any car that makes 105 more than factory stated or engine change (if the motor was never sold as a factory option in australia as an upgrade eg 1.6 or 1.8 lt) legally needs an engenieers cert.
Techncally though if you engine was say changed from an a12 to a15 3-4yrss ago in vic you coull register the car with that legally and it is still legal now (although that may change if you swap motors requiring a new engine number).

This is just tthe start of ALL states and territiories falling into line iwith ONE set of guidelines for modified cars... let the fun end here unless you are legal.....

Its going to get striciter too. Sphicter clenching time begins for all
