Welcome to datsun1200.com. Your coupe looks real fine and tidy. Which engine is it? And also where is your windscreen washer resivior?

Mate, that is one neat 1000 coupe! very tidy indeed... you missing a wiper motor aswell?

hahaha, yeah I haven't got around to installing the wiper res & motor, but its on my list to do.

The engine is the A10 with a hi flo carby.

I have a A10 board to 1400cc w/ flat top pistons new valves and lumpy cams sitting in my backyard. That is also on my list to do.

Should I upgrade the gear box at the same time? any recommanded?

are you sure that is an a10 the distributor looks like it is mounted to far back to be an a10 check for a number just behind the dizzy it might say a12 or if your lucky a14 or a15
