Unfortunately for me I will not be attending this year. Again.

I will be in Japan for a week on buisness.
Darn.

The Aussie Datto scene is growing..I hear rumours of dozens of turbo Datto projects underway in Western Sydney.

So Australia may win the Datto World Cup.

I know. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the last year.

As for me, the trip to Japan was rescheduled. My car, however, is in little pieces. I'll try to attend this year.

As a car show, Canby has more cars ... why bother with Shasta?

But as a race/rally event, Shasta of course has it all.

uh, he's from the bay area remember.

anyways, more cars doesn't mean that much when a lot of them are beaters (besides being strewn all over the place)

Yea, I think Canby is a little far. I'm trying to keep Sep 30 open so I can drive to LA. LA is about 350 miles from here, but I'm more familiar with SoCal than with AboveCal.

Anyways, I still have to put the head back on the engine and weld up the cracks in my header. I'll be finishing up the 240V/50A power feed to the garage tomorrow. I should finally be able to fire up the welder.

A lot of cars but not as many as previous years. There were only 2 other 1200's this year. One was BigEd's white coupe the other coupe belonged to Hector's Chop Shop.
