It can be done it just costs.
You can redo all most anything you just need a CNC mill, but it's pointless. Untill you've got most a your body done from carbon fiber I wouldnt even think about it.

Back in the very early '80's I thought I might build a very special engine for my 1000 sedan, so I started pricing many of the parts in the B210 Sports Option Catalogue from Datsunsport in Melbourne.
You know, essential everyday sports parts like alloy oil pan, titanium rods, forged pistons, twin Solex induction, option one five speed etc. etc. When the running total reached about $10,000 & climbing I realised it was fast heading for a figure that was going to look like a goodly chunk of my annual salary at the time, I quickly realised that a GX engine & pre loved GX five speed was a much more cost effective option, even when the head & all the head parts were purchased new. You need to put this all in perspective by comparing the cost at the time against the value of a dollar at the time. The same engine parts would represent about $25,000 to $30,000 if taken as the same percentage of my sallary today. A mild V8 that produced several times as much power could be built for a fraction of that cost at the time.

Hmm.. That's a lot of money, and the CF bits wouldn't save you that much weight.
Get a heavier swaybar, stiffen up the body, and keep the fuel tank full ![]() Reducing weight from intercoolers and intercooler piping (using alloy piping) is a big help to reducing weight.

yeah... i guess i should give my reasons for wanting less nose weight...
im thinking of making an sr20det datsun 1000. so if the 80kg (i think) engine is 65/35 front/rear weight then the 150kg (i think) sr20det would REALLY screw the handling. so yeh i wanna lighten the front end some. maybe some subs & stuff in the boot would help.
