might be easier and cheaper to attain twin strombergs and make your own manifold then try to find twin hitachis with the right manifold not quite sure wat size strombergs would be best does any one else know??

Find a full set off a GX 1200, 120y etc. Correct manifold, linkages and tuned to suit an A-series.

No you cannot buy them brand new. Its easier just to find it already done and might i add cheaper than to source some Su's,($50) and to buy a new manifold($220) + throw in some dollars for the linkages.

Genuine setups arent hard to find. Ill of had my 3rd set in less than a year after next week. Dont always look in the obvious places but keep your eye out everywhere. They quite reguarly come up for sale on here.

I might have just scored myself a set of the twin su carbs it says 1200 carbs with manifolds, if these came of a 1200 gx (which i think has the oval ports) will this fit my round port a12 ?

Bolt pattern is all wrong. However buy them if you can. Always a good investment. Plus its your choice then. Either put a oval port head on the 1200 block or put an a14/a15 in.
