CA18DET Dyno/Coilpack Help Needed

Hey guys,
Got my CA18DET Coupe dynoed and got 170rwhp on 8 psi. Had heaps of problems with blowing up coil packs. I am running a Wolf 3D computer, Bosch ignitors and standard coilpacks. Tried different spark plugs on dyno and had similar problems. Any ideas what causes this or how it can be fixed???? It was suggested that I run PFR7B sparkplugs and see if this would fix problem. Anyone overcome the same problem?

Hi mate
I've had coilpack trouble at various times too. I chose to run a colder plug and gap them down a bit and this has helped significantly. Matty

I had the same problem with mine, I just ran the cheapest plug that i could find (about$2.20 ea) and havnt had any trouble since. Cheers. Adam.
