Sounds good to me. Just bolt the A14 (oval port) head on. Don't bother to port it, it is plenty big already for an A12.

Compression? What country are you in? Aussie heads are high compression I think, but USA heads are lower.

Go with the 32/36 carb to start with if you can find one inexpensive. Or if you want to go new, use a single weber sidedraft, about 50% more expensive than a new 32/36, but more performance (but with extra cost of getting an intake manifold).

Get standard extractors and a 1.75 inch exhaust.

Don't bother with CDI.

Don't try the forced induction yet. See how your tasks are completed with the above. You can add turbo or supercharger later, using the above stuff (although 2" exhaust would be better, maybe start with that).
