first time logged in, thought i might introduce myself. i'm one of those older retired folk who now finds time to do vehicle mods. i have no questions to ask but am sure i can answer many regarding conversions on all dattos. i have a 1200 coupe which was featured in zoom issue 30 and a one owner 1200 sedan with a genuine 71000 miles on the clock. feel free to ask any technical questions you like of me.

Hi Rowlz,

Welcome to the club.

Are there any online pictures of your coupe or sedan you could point us to? As you can see from my logo, I'm a sedan fan, but I also enjoy seeing a nice 1200 coupe.

On the left side here, click Photo Album.
Then click "add a new one" kind of in the middle of the page.

The graphics need to be:
- JPG format
- less than 1024x1024 resolution
- less that 100k file size

ca18 like most now, i was one of the first to do it in qld and now build them for others,
it runs T25G with 660x300x65 i/c, full 3 " with no cat running under diff. i do chips for factory ecu and run 15psi all the time. have a narrowed silhoulette lsd with adjustable suspension all round, 2 seater with front and rear spoilers of original style from early days.i about to try adding a jpeg or 2 to the album page

seeing youve done a few, whats an average price for someone to buy a stock motor and install it (just basics to get it going), doing most work at home except wiring and tunning, not including brake or suspension upgrades, half cuts in melb i think are $2200 for a ca18det or there abouts

Hi Kevin, I've met you a couple of times over the years. You might remember my red coupe with the L series engine? I remember back when you had the supecharged A15 under the bonnet! Welcome to the club.

The spoilers you mention are Steve's aren't they?

I've got the first question for ya! Did the boys at Fulcrum Moorooka do your rear leaves? How have you found them?

Harry
