hey all, its been a while since i've posted anything eh?
i need help, i have a mate who is offering to sell me twin dellortos totally rebuilt for $400 is this worth it?
or will my su's suffice?

price is good, are they built for an engine cc similar to what you got ?? can get $$$$ jetting and choking them to suit your engine ....
su's are great but twin 4o's are always better for performance and noise
it's an easy swap if you've got the bits and pieces ready to go ..... you'll need a manifold - $2-300 from redline or JTS, linkages - $50-150 depending how you go about it, if you're running the cast exhaust manifold that suits the su's you should be in luck with the dells fitting but if you're running extractors you'll have to check them for clearances with new manifold. then if you get real excited .... electronic ignition

definitely a good upgrade if you're prepared to go all the way in getting them set up 100%

I have twin dellortos on my ute and everyone is always telling me how good he sounds so id take it as well! Dellortos do suk for starting and warming up tho so make sure u work out a choke system. I just have two bits of bent metal i clip the chokes open from. Starts first go just take them off after its warmed up and ready to go
