Hey and welcome,

I highly doubt that it has been done to a b10. Blowhard has put an 4age into a kb10 and mopar is planning on doing it. The rest of us have humble a series in our b10's. I think someone is putting a ca16de in one, and I would like a hayabusa engine. Which car is the hemi our of?

Cheers, Ian

It sounds interesting and I will look into it. I think that in NSW you cant turbocharge a 1.8 litre, it nees to be na. But you can a 1600.

You should post a photo of your car. what engine does it have at the moment?

cheers, Ian

You can usually buy a14's fairly cheaply and the basically drop straight in, you just need to make some new engine mounts. Add a set of su's or webbers and it will spice it up.

What body type is it?

There was a 1200 on ebay US a few weeks ago that had that motor in it. I just checked the completed auctions listings, and it wasn't in the listings, so I assume the auction ended early. Sorry I can't find the pics for you.

We didn't get 1000's in the US, so I don't know the differences in fitment, but that motor looked right at home in the 1200.

The compression will be the same. The 1200 had more displacement per cylinder, but unlike the A10 engine, it had diched pistons to bring the compression down, so the standard 1000 head becomes a straight 1200 replacement.
