Hey mate, just read your thread. love what you are doing! I was tossing up whether to buy a wb ute or a 1500 datto. But reading and seeing the pictures of this thread has made my decision. Ringing the guy now to organize payment! Great inspiration. thanks keep it up!

ok this is the x member for the engine,
this thing wass totaly filfty ,
i had to clean and clean and clean again just to get down to the steel!!!
heres a tip if yourve got time when cleaning parts like this ,use oven cleaner ,let it sit for as long as you can ,then hose down ,it really helps to move the grease off,

so got it all clean and sanded it up then set it in the booth hanging between 2 stands ,so i could paint underneath and on top at the same time ,

i have a short video clip of putting the first coat on ,will try to figure out how to get it on here soon.....

the painted shots will be up to morrow as my camera run out of memory due to the video clip i took ,so keep an eye for those,

now to go a little off topic , here a few shot of the actual ute!!! now dont get to excited i havnt touched the body yet ,it is in need of a hell of a lot of work,

was giving it a quick look over today and found that the last ower must have been so sort of fast and furious fan or some thing case there were all these little lights under the car!!!!!!!!!!what the!!!!!!!!!??????????

weird ,some sort of try hard neons or some thing, not to worry they Will be removed for sure!!! ,no dodgy stuff here ,
