how do you manage to get it registered with the L16 with out engineers

doesnt it need to be engineered coz its been modified?

i was going to try the old, i needed to change to this engine to run unleaded, the wreckers said it bolted straight in

That might be the way to go, just act ignorant!

I was talking to Baz at Datsport about it, he said any larger than 1.6 and i would need engineering cert. Gold thing is, do that then use L18 crank rods and pistons and bore to 85mm and have a road reg'd 1.8L 1200!

My mate was putting a E15 motor in his 1000 and he got the all clear from Regency Park just had to go for no. inspection.

Cheers R-fast... i will be doing something with the underside of the car soon, probably get it up on a hoist and go over it with the high pressure cleaner and give it a spray over.

Still waiting for springs, hope i get a call tomorow!
