Dude, you'll have to mention what type of wheels you want to put on your car for people to be able to answer your question. e.g 13 x 5.5....12 x 6

whats the max size without rolling the guards will fit under 79datto ute with a 120y front conversion. i really like turboutes mags.
wouldnt mind gettin a set. i heard theyre fairly rare tho. how much work is involved in getting 17s under? and what if i put 7 or 6inch rear width and 6.5inch fronts tyres. would that effect steering much or what?
cheers

The problem is not that you have the wrong struts, the real problem is that you are trying to fit the wrong wheels.
If the wheels do not fit the car, then perhaps you need to have another look at what's available in the wheel catalogue, rather than trying to re-engineer your whole front end to fit the wheels.

What 15" wheels? I believe that TRX wheels are popular, but I prefer the look of the earlier Skyline wheels as used by both Benny & Rfast on their race cars [at least, I think they are 15"]
If the rims are rubbing on the struts, then they are probably front drive wheels & these very frequently have no 'dish', & as a result, look bloody awfull, in my view.

Have a good look at what others are running & see if you can find something you like. There is no need to have new wheels on the car within a week is there?
Hasten slowly to get the most satisfactory outcome.
