Has anyone ever used Rust Bullet to stop rust. I've got some rust on my coupe and am thinking of coating the whole under carriage.
Here's the web site.

Well, the Rust Bullet video presentation was most impressive.

No;however, despite what Rust Bullet's ad says about it's competitors, I can vouch for POR-15. I thought I was going to have to buy an after market gas tank because my was so severely rusted,it had rust-sickles hanging from the top of the tank. Used POR-15 on it eight years ago and it still looks like brand-new inside the tank-great stuff. Their Metal-Prep does'nt use acid, but actually forms a Zinc compound.
Remember, no matter how good a product, the final result is only as good as the preparation

Watch video closely. They used a POR-15 undercoat, and used a poor quality top coat from another manufacturer to go over the POR-15. I can only presume why they did not use the POR-15 top coat. This is the only sample they mixed bottom and top coats ....hmmmmm.

Yes, the video did seem impressive but I was looking for something that they were doing to make it look more glamorous. I've never used POR15 so I didn't know about their topcoat. Anyway, I think I'm going to give it a try here in a couple of weeks. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. In the mean time, Here's the only other website I've found that show someone applying it. Interesting!
