Err... I guess the answer is that $265 would be WAY too much to pay! I just may take you up on that generous offer.
Now what about the other goodies to actually fit it to my A12 ?

I just went and pulled the dellorto out, its got a baseplate for a ramflow type filter, and a bit of linkage. Its got 34mm chokes, I'll let someone else tell you if thats OK for an a12, I have no idea.

btw its not that generous, I paid $50

tyrie you ol ripoff merchant! I have a ramflo air filter assembly you can have since I have changed to ram tube and sock filters, I don't know if the ramflo filter assembly will fit the 45's though as mine are 40's.
But any how the offer is on the table all you need to pay is postage and it's yours
I actually have two kits for twin sidedraughts which may be useful if you want to go with twin sidies later on

lol would i rip someone off?

Its just I've been offered $150 for it with the L-series manifold, and the manifolds alone arent worth that much.
meh if shirley wants to buy it thats cool, otherwise it'll stay sitting in the shed

Butt in any time!
. I've spoken to my mechanic today and he tells me that they are a whole lot of work to set up properly, ie they must be tuned on a dyno etc, so i think I'll either stay stock standard or look at a downdraught . That's his advice anyhow.
I am however now on the hunt for 180 sss coup pre '76

Or you could get a pair of sidedraught SU's or Hitachis. They make good power and are easy to tune. good luck
