So did you also price other retailers like Repco& Super cheap. ?
I've found huge price variations from one retailer to the next

Don't you just love the way Datsuns Save. They save you money in so many ways & this just looks like being another.

My 1200 coupe rode more harshly than I thought it should, so I replaced all the rubber suspension bushes with well lubricated urethane ones, as well as fitting a new set of rear spring interleaf friction pads.

The ride quality is MUCH better now & I would describe it as being 'quite firm, but much smoother'

its the last components that i got for my suspension cause i have replaced everything with new stuff so my suspension is brand new. new shocks, spring, sway bar, bushes bearings all round, Rebuilt calipers all round, new discs, new pads etc etc. once you start you cant stop because you cant justify leaving one part old when everything else is brand new.

i have just done this to my 1200 coupe on the weekend, with complete poly in the rear end, cost me $89 for all the bushes, only thing is, i had to order 2 extra sets of rear back shackle bushes and drill them out to fit the rear front shackle as no one sells them.

Something ive heard is to use the poly spring eye bushings but alloy shackle bushings to stop sideways movement when cornering, im going to be doing this with my sedan.

Hmmmm, metal to metal in a load area with moving pins.
Let us know how you go with noise, wear rate, & lubrication difficulties when using aluminium for shackle bushes.

There is only movement in the front shackle bushing. The rears do not have moving pins. I dont care about noise, wear rate or lubrication, my car will be registered but will be aimed at competition use. Same could be said for my strut tops, no lube on a spherical bearing, also looking at alloy bushings for radius rods.
