whats the best flywheel to use on the a15 i built for my dat 1200 ute with the original box.
i noticed the a15 is thicker than the a12 flywheel.

most people use the a12 flywheel as its lighter. It should be a straight bolt-up.

I understand the throwout bearing (I think it's calle d that) is different between the A15 and A12 - there's a thread on it somewhere deep in Datto1200.com history......

I put the 1200 one on mine.

Never had a problem.
After I changed the clutch a few years later, I also got the A12 one lightened.

If you have the money to be able to do this. Then I highly reccomend getting it lightened. Makes the car so much more zippy.

I found where the throwout bearing info is....funny enough it is in the Tech Section in the article describing how to fit an A14/A15 to a 1200.

Probably worth reading that if your interested
