have a look at the pic he posted from front on, should give a good indication of wether it will fit or not

im pretty sure its going to fit over my L20b (which supposedly is to tall to fit in a 1200) so a CA should be no problem

but you could always pm ca18det_man and see if it fitted over his

For all the guys asking if the strut brace will clear the Ca18 engine.
YES IT WILL
That is unless your engine is sitting way to high. I have around 30mm clearance with mine. Id say it will also clear the Sr20 engine.
Im very happy with mine, havnt welded it all up yet looks very profesionally made . |
My engine is out getting a little work done to it but look forward to testing it out.

Now I can't wait to get mine. As Andrew did my cross member for the CA I was hoping he'd come back with a 'yes it fits'.

I'm gonna take some picks of the new shell tomorrow. Starting to come together now....
