Well my R31 disks are in the ute and I went to bolt up the rims (firstly they decided to change the thread from datsun to nissan so I had to get a few new bolts) then I find out that the front rims hang out a few cms from the guards. I have a few thoughts but from all of your experiances what would you recommend be it cheaper, easier etc
1 Get the rims machined on the back to pull the buggers in a bit
2 Fit flairs (not really the look Im after)
3 Get new rims (dont want to the rims I have have only done about 2,000 klms)
4 leave it as is and hope the engineer dosnt notice.
any thoughts advice or storys would be much appreciated
Cheers

Out of all those options I would go for the machining of the wheels. It seems the most extreme but would be ideal in the end. Adam.

Can the wheels be moved in 2.5cm closer to the strut and still not have the tyre rub the strut?
If you can - then machine them.
If not - it looks like new narrower wheels are required.
If you dont like the look of flares, i'm guessing the wheels sticking out does not appeal to you either.
