has anyone fitted an aftermarket pedal box to a 1200?
Something on the lines of this Wilwood set up... http://www.wilwood.com/Products/005-P ... s/002-FSMP/dual/index.asp I was only thinking about it becuase the set up in the 1200 i have now is going to need to be replaced and i figure the benefits for racing and the on the track, would outweight the cost of an aftermarket set up... thoughts???

Hi Marty, I checked this out and the the cost far outweigh the benefits. i have however Wilwood brakes upfront with a 260Z brake cylinder and the brakes are just superb. the only thing I could think of that would be most benefit would be adjustability...but seriously it didnt really stack up. I will definatley have a wilwood pedal box in my Brabham BT19 replica which I will build.

The adjustability of a pedal box is awesome.
I can actually run more front brake at Oran Park and Eastern Creek, but I have to wind some more to the rear for Wakefield to avoid locking the inside front. And it's easy to do on the run too.....just twist the dial.....I love the flexibility it offers. You can view topic.
