he makes up the leaf springs for the rear which are supposed to work quite well without any tramp......

BAD310,
Good luck getting the 4 link engineered in QLD, Have you had the design approved by QLD transport yet?? if so i would love to see the application and approval for my own project (save a bit of paperwork).

Engineers in QLD can not approve rear suspension design and a 4 link conversion fits into that category. Once the design is approved by QLD transport the engineer can approve the modification in accordance with the design.

I always thought it was a four link because it has the four trailing arms, so what makes it a 2 link?

Is there anybody out there who can verify if a standard B310 sedan's diff setup is a 4link or a 2link and what the difference is between them?
I don't want to go around telling people that it is a 4link and it's not.

i dont know what the 310 suspension looks like, but if it has two trailing arms that run where a leaf spring would, and two diagonal arms running from the diff to the body then its a four link. I believe a two link is accompanied by a panhard rod??? take a photo, if it has four 'links' its a four link tho

Sorry BAD310 you are probably ok.
I'm not sure if the 310 has a 4 link or not.
If you are connecting the suspension members up to the original mounts then you should be ok. I had a brain fart and thought you were converting from Leaf spring to 4 link.
