ooooh! forgot about my latest one.....
i built my TE72 corolla for drifting and had it all ready for paint....(i can just see you gritting your teeth)
going to work one morning, 'bout 5:30am, 75mph (the middle of nowhere between Alva, Ok and Medicine Lodge, Ks)
just cruising when i saw movement coming off the left shoulder; i had just enough time to close my eyes when WHAM!!!!!
there was LOTS of wind around me and i could feel LOTS of glass on my face
i was terrified to open my eyes (glass) and was slowing from 75mph BLIND
i had 3 choices; put it in the left ditch where ther were trees up the bank, put it in the right ditch which was deeper, or just hold the wheel and hope like hell i didn't hit anything...
i held the brake and put it in the right ditch
after everything stopped spinning; i found a rag in the back footwell, shook it, and carefully wiped the glass from my eyes
WOW! i now had no windshield, the was part of an antler in the sunvisor, another part in my lap
looking out the driver's widow i almost had a heart attact when i found the door was WIDE OPEN!!!!!!!
long story short; i hit a 10point buck (whatever that means) and it's doe. the bucks head came through the windshield and its ass hit the quarter panel just behind the door pushing it in 6" and ripping the latch out
what i didn't know until the sun came up was the force of the buck's ass put the car in a sideways spin and my turning it right spun it out into the right ditch
if i hadn't turned it probably would have hit the left ditch sideways, tripped and rolled with the door open and a seatbelt with a broken retractor
seeing this i was in tearsas i called my wife, and i didn't even cry when a drug crazed gangbanger held a 9mm to my head and asked if i wanted to die...
that was the death of "bubba"
