i doubt you could get an a-12 rebuilt for that price, be honest guys, i actually think they might be talking about parts though not labour, but unless your confident in doing the rebuild you gotta pay for that too

If your're going to fight it, get another mechanic to inspect the engine and put in writing what he thinks caused the problem. See if he'll agree and write that "running rich" for 1000km won't cause this kind of problem. And then think how you're going to prove it was only 100km. Race car teams wouldn't purposely run their turbos rich if it was going to cause the rings to break down in a short period of time, or would they?

I wouldn't bet on it. Plenty of high budget teams would to get the extra performance.

Just like anti lag, its all not that good but worth it to win races.

But I think I recall only 100K's, thats a joke an would say that you may just have a chance if you could be bothered going ahead. make sure its a high profile and trusted mechanic and not some wanker.

just a side thing, i heard F1 cars use some rediculously high boost figure like 40psi or something for there qualifying lap, then when they pull in off comes the turbo and dumped straight in the bin, after 1 laps use!

p.s. loving the monkey magic avatar!
