Hi homer
Hux here
I got KV's race & resto to do the conversion.
they are also moving the chassis in nicley to fit some big rubber and make it look as per the factory. Kavey has almost finished and it all is looking good for a bit of fun. He has been able to fit a shortened 9" with an alloy front carrier to keep the weight down. i am using a ca turbo box and 3" tail sharft. I ahve almost finshed the eng build as well. Its a little different but it should really give a few cars a fright. Forgies at 11:1 comp,H beams, total seal rings, tomei cams and gears. lash killer kit , crower high lift springs and retainers, custom head studs, EFI hardware throttle bodies x4. I have ported the head the best i could and will be sent to someone else to finish & fix the job properly as i went a little far in one of the ports. I only have to get the nos kit , computer and dyno the eng once finshed. i have been told to expect around 200kw @ engine wich i would be really happy with as i intend to give it atleast a 150 hp shot of gas eventually after all of the tuning process NOW LETS SEE IF A CA CAN KEEP UP WITH THAT ON THE STRIP OR STREET. It should be fun and if you need any info or help just let me know as i have allot of measurements for the fittment of eng/ diff etc.
