well ive started off with going completely standard just a complete rebuild with as many new parts as i can aford,

how ever there may be other options that i could look at as well,

all ideas and input from you guys are welcom, but i will be keeping the a12 block and components so keep that in mind

possible ::

mild cam????
sidedrafts????
forged pistons?????????
balanced and blue printed?>>??
porting and polishing??????
turbo?????????
weber????????????

i guess the list could go on and on,

basicly i wanted to keep it original for reliablility and ease of maintance,

so still thinking on this ,so all ideas welcom

im thinking because you say you dont wanna spend heaps on the engine...
Downdraft weber or sidedraft if you got the money.
Extractors
maybe porting
and a cam.
She'll be good for some power but not break the bank. There are a lot of little things you can do to get more. Just make sure it can breath properly and go from there.
I dont know about everyone else but i cant wait to see how the engine bay is going to turn out
