please members/ i need to know if the dash on a 77 280z is alike to a dash on a 79 280z/ i have a radio for a 79 and a member posted to me saying he had a 77 280z and we both do not know if the 79 radio will fit a 77 dash. help!! thank you

kinda the wrong forum to be asking but...

They should be identical! I know the 240Z had a differnt dash to the 260Z, not sure on the 280Z as we didnt get them in Australia. But within the same model series it should be the same. Things like radios shouldnt worry it anyway!

Go figure, I had trouble getting kits for my 280zx brakes, they kept trying to sell me 280z kits, had to order the zx ones from interstate. Ive seen both on the road here in Adelaide, i think we got both.

im pretty sure we didnt get the 280z 'aussie delivered', but in saying that i have seen a 280zx 2 seater as well. big improvement over the 2+2
