I was looking at these & seeming as I've never had to buy headlights before - are these worth the $$$?

Dunno what postage is worth. I might wait till they get relisted before I ask.

What are headlights worth?

Been discussed before:
PRevious thread

No, I dont think they are worth it. I don't know if they are 'road legal' either.

You'd be better to get some Narva or Hella headlights with removable H4 bulbs. I use Hella ones and they are better than almost all other cars. They are correctly adjusted and running high power globes.

I recently heard there was a Hyundai or something that used the same headlights as a 1200, that also used the replacable H4 globes. You could get them from the wreckers at a great price. That would be the cheapest and best option.

they are road legal, but you can't go past a 55/60 bulb (this is in qld, and i think it's a crock or sh!t) try you local car panel supplier, they sell up here in brisbane for $55 per pair (plus bulbs), just make sure they are glass not plastic.

I run 90/100s in mine..wouldn't know it by just looking at the lights at night. Most new Xenon globes look brighter in my opinion.

they won't solve the lack of a relay and proper wire.

they may or may not be legal, they're glass so you need stone guards.

I have em, wow they're rally bright with xtra-view bulbs which are a standard wattage.

don't pay much - better yet get real hella ones.
