Sounds like an external waste gate to me. I bet they didn't pipe it back into the exhaust. Good vid.

yes that is what a screamer pipe is
its off the back of the external wastegate and it doesnt get plumbed back into the exhaust
highly illegal though but you cant beat that sound

You guys get screwed on everything. I have an sr in my 510 no inspection no emissions nothing, for all they know is its a L16 with a 4 speed. I've heard there is laws in the U.S. but I've never been hassled, and I drove it as a daily driver for 6 months (broke another rear end, sporting the 1200 now). I know people that run open waste gates with no trouble from the Heat.. O Datsuns aren't very popular over here ether, very few true enthusiasts, for example I'm in the nwde club, me and one other dude actually drive are datto's to the club meeting. I've never seen some of the members datsuns, and I've been a member for 3+ years.

my mate has a screamer and he went over the pits and copped 3 pages of defects but they didnt pick the screamer
