I have an A12 and i was wondering what type of upgrades you all have done to it and what times have u been running in the 1/4 mile.... I want to build my engine up and make it an awesome drag car, and your advise and knowledge will greatly help...

An A12A will never make "an awesome drag car". Your 1980 B310 weighs 2000 pounds, and an A12 puts out 65 hp Net (45 rear-wheel horsepower). Even a "built" A12 will only be 100 rwhp ... which will make a nice drag car, but a new Acura or Mustang will still beat it.

Best bet is to stick a big engine in it like a Ford 5-litre.



For a more bolt-on approach, put in an A15 and reduce the weight of your car. You could probably get into the 15-sec range if you remove all interior and both bumpers, and every unnecessary engine bracket.
