Any one got an idea how to fix the blow back problem in the 1000 ute.
Some day's need to go so slow it's like filling the petrol tank with a popper straw.
Seem's the breather aint doing it's job well enough. Is it common or just my b1000.
Seem's she is having a spew at the petrol price's.

My wagon has the same issue
I just go slow and turn it slightly on its side and pull it out so I can almost see it coming out of the nozzle
Its only 30 litres max so doesn't take too long

The only way I know of fixing a blow by problem is disasemble the block buy new piston rings. Put the new rings on and put the gaps in difrent directions and put it al back together. It should stop your blow by problem.

I think he's talking about fuel spitting back at him when hes re-fueling.

Yeh my wagon does it, its a prick!

I think ive heard a story of a 4dr sedan doing it too, fuel pumps musnt of pumped as quick back in the 60s

I dont have problems with it spitting out. But its like the nozzle doesnt fit in my 1200 sedan it takes me a while to get it in a position where it will let the petrol go in!?

Not only did you not read the note.
you totally screwed up the cure..for the problem.
Have two very different problem's and are in two different location's AS WELL.
Last time I looked blow back and blow by are two totally direfent subject,s.Quote:

NOT THAT IS WAS FAULTY TO START WITH.
The tank was removed for total body and panel work. 3 month's ago.
Tank was And is replaced in the same position it was in the first place.JUST BIGGER A DESIGN.... total mine carry's 120 litre's in to tank's.
All pipe's line's replaced with new orginal design and still spit's back. Part's form auto one morley..
Beside's have fun feeling for a kink when there is no room to move let alone see the KINKED PIPE..
THE b10 or 1000 ute is not very user freindly as it take's about 30 minute's to remove (clean or fix and replace)the fuel tank. both tank's in my case.
I also under stand that the v8 gas guzzler's have bigger tank's and the people who own such do not like standing to long to fill up there smokeer's or fogger's .
Petrol pump's increase preasure to fill tank's because of our heavy lifestyle's or lack of.
THIS is where the problem started for the old school car's.

Any one have a Bright Idea how to sort the Blow back proble out. Other than tank deceasment.or removal..
In the 1000 model's as it is still a problem for at least 10 year's worth of head ache's from what if received feed back on..all over the world..
