CA18DET ENGINE POWER

Is there any one that can give me an idea of what sort of power can be made out of this engine as i am going to start a new project car soon, and i am weighing my options in motors!!!!

my last tune was 319.7hp at the rear wheels.
I got a mate who made well over 400hp in his 1200 ute, up around the 395hp with the auto in also.

TEL ME IS THER MUCH TO MODIFY IN THE UTE TO FIT THIS MOTOR? AND WHAT GEARBOX DO YOU PREFER WITH THIS CONVERSION?

nah its fairly straight forward. Just have to get a crossmember made (Kev Rowley does good ones). I just use the CA18 gearbox, it saves all the trouble of matching boxes to engines. Or you can use rb20 with CA18 bell housing.
