iv got myself a VG30ET and i want it to go in the 521 and wanted to know if any one has info on this motor and what its like

i've seen em in 510's and they fit nice. We often think of putting one in a sunny. seems like it would fit. it's kinda heavy, but all the V6's are. If there's 1 reason it might be cool, 3.0L V6 it may not be popular, but you won't be pushing it hard.

its out of a 1993 300zx and i thought it would go just as hard or evan harder in the datto is there any thing wrong with these motors besides the weight of it im putting in commodore diff and front sup to and lower the back and putting in tramp bars

Not the strongest motor by all accounts...... Cost big $$$ to get reliability AND power.

Suppose it depends on what you want it for.
If you're happy to keep it in stock trim, I'd say go for it.
If you want big HP, I'd say go for a RB25 if it'll fit .

i think he's here in the states, don't think we ever got any RB anything here.

but if you weren't looking for massive power, it would pobably be fun in a light car...

Dett? if it's out of a 93 Zed..
ultra reliable if it was mantained, 220rwkw all day long 14psi boost, pod chip Zorst,
can be expensive if your pushing 550hp with forgies and better rods..

don't be fooled into thinking the VG30DETT is a slouch,

and i saw somewhere vg30e eg sigle cam version wieght of long motor equals L20 long motor

i am in oz and im after a fear bit of poiwer out of this motor but i want it to be drivable/controlable power about 300-350hp with in a 521 ute wouldnt be bad i dont think would be lots of fun its really just my first real big project so i dont want to be doin things twice trying to get more power. any suggestions on what other NISSAN v6 would be beter or evan an il6 maybe with a bit mor power or evan a bit lighter?
