They arent $220 either, thats for the Petronix Kit. If you buy the petronix kit from ebay its about $100 from america.

The Datrats dizzy on the other hand is about $450, feral has shut up shop from what ive heard anyway. How do you know they havent recurved the dizzy?

I don't know of anyone who actually has a Datrats distributor, that has reason to complain about the quality or performance, but if you can churn out a cheap & nasty version on a lathe & make it work properly, then good fortune to you, but mine came with a new module & wiring harness too.

I love it

dont get me wrong if it blows your hair back do it all i was trying to say is that if someone wonted one cheaper (on a budget) that is all they would have to do.
personally i have gone for a vw modified procomp dizzy with accel timming comp to control vac and mech (has cost about 600 so far).

Sadly, I can't. I don't even know what make of distributor that it is, but knowing that would be a good start, as would knowing just exactly what engine & car it was made for.

Do we know if this was intended as a high energy ignition, or simply a standard output ignition? The High Energy types are often distinguished by a larger diameter cap so as to space the terminals further apart, & this type requires a high output coil, such as the Bluebird [& many others] use.

If you can determine the make & model number of the distributor, then give Google a bit of a flogging & see if you can come up with some info, after all, that's what the internet's for.

I wish I could be more helpfull.

[Edit] If you have one of these Crown remanufactured distributors, then the 'fit' chart on their listing will tell you just what models used it.
Armed with this info you may care to ask if any of our US members would purchase the needed parts on your behalf & mail them over. A Paypal account would be an advantage as would a double order of parts so that you aren't stranded if a cap or rotor should fail.

Then again, ebay is good.

any coil will work but for better performance get a 40 000v to 45 000v coil
gt40 would do fine
