Ian,

I might have a lead on a possible buyer, so what is the story with the car ? What's the current asking price ?

Dodgeman! I know this is an old thread but somebody else bought it back up and I just noticed your post.

I've also checked the brothers kb10 sitting in my brothers garage (not the race car) and it too has a set of head rests. It also interesting that all three Kb10's are deluxe models.

I'm unsure if I'll be restoring these seats or fitting seats from another car. It depends alot on the costs of both which I haven't started to research yet. But If I decide to use foreign seats I'll let you know that these seats are up for grabs. The seats are stuffed, but the headrests are in almost new condition!

Hey Selga,

The car was bought off the original owner about 10 years ago by my uncles friend. It is 100% original and unrestored. Since then it has been basically sitting in a shed, and only driven occationaly. He (my uncle) is asking 6500 firm.

Cheers, Ian

Well, five months later & I get to see this post.

Daniel, all of the Australian spec KB10's were DeLuxe models & from what I can make out so far, the known headrests are all fitted to cars that were sold new in Victoria. It also seems that all of the options in the list on my sales brochure were available in Australia, but not necessarily across Australia.

If you do chose to go with replacement seats, then I would be most glad to hear from you as the head rests are to only factory option that I am currently missing. Keep in mind that some of the options, like the radio, tach, & heater were standard equipment in Aussie models, as well as the external mirrors, although not all of the Aussie coupes got these.

Yes, it did sell.
