was there much damage to the roof or scuttle panel? and di you have any rust behid the guard??

no there was no rust on the skuttle or the roof luck me it had already been welded,so that was handy there is a small bit of rust where the bottom of the guard goes like the size of a pea,so its looking ok

ok well finally got a bit of time today to get a abit done on the ute ,so heres todays efforts first the idea of today was to get the insides of the cabin all ready for priming etc but managed to get a bit more done than i thought,

so here was where i was at;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

bad pic but basicly a very messy interior,
so today i had to sand a hell of a lot and do a few small rust repairs ,then seal it all up with fresh sealer..............

no i definatley have not forgotten!!!!!!!!!just had alot on at the moment so time for the ute has been very hard to find but im back so should see more soon............

so the cabins all masked up and ready to go heres a few of the fresh sealer....

so first i spayed on the good old etch as per the usual and then using a tecnique called wet on wet,
i mixed up some primer that was tintable with the colour i was using and sprayed on one coat to seal the hole thing and also make for a base for the top colour,after that 2 coats of the colour and thats where i got upto to day check it...............

so there you go a hard days work and a bit more progress and a reasonable job too,tomorrow im going to mask of a few parts and stone guard the floor area to make sure its fully sealed ,will have more pics tomorrow, so for now enjoy!!!

still love the amount of work that you have gone to. hope the buyer appreciates the amount of work that you have gone to in this ute. cant wait till the next update.
