Hi all,
I am getting my 1200 coupe back from the painter soon ( has anyone heard of a 1200 in flamingo red 905?) and i need to know what seals i will need from this list
and alos does any one know where i can get a rear window seal that will take a chrome strip? thanks

Its a 240z colour. It actually is orange

The rubbers are al the same as the UTE's, if that's of any help. I went through the same thing when I painted my car. Only two rubbers I couldn't find was the boot seal, and the rear window rubber.

Mine is a sedan though, but the boot seal was taken care of with a Merc boot seal, which almost fits as if made for the 1200, but am still searching for the rear window rubber.

Any suggestions of substitutes for this would be appreciated. Even if it has to be cut and glued...

there is a bloke at st marys called spectrum rubber he has a ad in hot 4s and fast fours mags to he should help you out

On ebay i see datsun 1200 seal kits all the time including everything (doors front windscreen boot seal all for $960

Heres a coupe rubber kit thats on ebay, it in bangkok but shiping is only $35 and kit is $150 us.

Phew, now I don't feel so bad about paying 585 ZAR(104 AUD) for mine. That's excluding the rear window though, which couldn't be so expensive to make up the rest...

haha i know well looks like ill be paying $960 AU for mine!! which i will need to buy sometime time this year ready for after the respray. Do you always need new seals of can u sometimes save the old ones?
