Hey guys, just wondering, we've been chasing for an electronic dizzy for the B310 (as it said on the wiki page) but I'm having trouble finding one.

Is there any other make/model which uses an electronic distributor which we can replace these awful points with?

Cheers

Hey guys. Sorry for the much delayed reply, been quite busy.

Does this also mean the E15ET one will be the same? Apparently the turbo engine is more common around here.

mikeys_toy: I'll pass for now, I'll see if we can get us one here first before I look overseas :)

Went to the wreckers today and got a dizzy from an E16. So far it seems to be a little different which concerns me.

We may have to swap the shafts over.

WELLLL..... i happened to try a mitsubishi nimbus (80's model) elec dizzy.. you might see one and say.. hell no thats way too long.. but the reality is a skilled fitter and turner could shorten it... the shaft size is the same as the datsun shaft so the datsun pinion fits on.. i havent done this but it it quite possible..

i would be soo happy if someone got this to work..

cheers tom

I'll be sure to keep you guys posted then. Was going to post a comparison pic but I'm out of time tonight.

Stay tuned.
