im sure no one doubts you, i think what they are trying to say is "what does a book know about current values"
they are worth alot more to datto enthusiasts than they are to the editor of redbook.

Guys, apart from the emotional ties we might have to our cars for what they are worth, we also have to look at what state in Australia the car is registered in, for example a car in NSW would be worth more than a car in South Oz. Why? Because of how tight they are with rego inspections in NSW, where as in South Oz the only time it will get inspected is if you are unfortunate enough to get defected. I dont think a registered car in NSW will NOT sell for much less than $1500. but in Adelaide you may pick a similar car for $500. I am not out to "diss" my South Ozzy mates but its true. The NSW car has been more maintained/repaired, not just for the sake of us who like to work on our cars, but in NSW you have to work on it too keep it registered. I maybe speaking from a city point of view, I dont know what our country brothers in NSW have to do but thats what its llike in the city.
This is just from my personal experience anyway. Thoughts people?
