yeah loose the handle reflectors and stupid little rubber things. it does look alot cleaner and non cluttered

well it looks like everyone likes the shaved look!!! i do to so i think thats what ill do,thanks everyone for there input,ill shave the handles but keep the tail gate so it opens not to keen on the whole lets slam 2 litres of bog in the rear end,!!!! ok so now thats decided i can plan out a few more things ,............

hey man

love this project..

i check on it everyday.. i say go shaved.. my ute is getting painted at this moment and is going all shaved but im getting clips on the inside of the tail gate..

the question i wanna ask is..

wat u doing with ur wheel archs?? carpet over them or wat? the painter ask me wat im gonna but i seen urs like it to.. so ill ask ya..

u reckon be heaps of hrs to get straight??

i take it you mean in my tray???
well what im doing is basicly tying it all up in there and then the hole inside will be sealed with either paint or stone guard and then possibly i could be constructing some sides and shaped covers for the hole lot,not sure yet that stage is a bit down the track ,youll just have to keep watching to see...............

i am posting a thread "My 1200 Ute" and i am posting what gets done each time we work on it and if itake pics they get posted too....like this one! but i don't think my car will turn out as nice as this one.....m only a beginner!

ok well a small update ,
i done the back panel of the cabin,took me all weekend but finally got it all done,basicly the process was exactly the same as the left side that i have finished so im not going to post up a million pics ,but heres the end result of the hard work ,
the process went like this
40# sand paper on the air sander
then wire wheel that gets it to bare metal
then a bit of bashing and repairs then
primer coats 4 of,,,wait till it drys {next day} then block back the primer with 120# and then 240#and reprime ,a very long process and in such a fiddly area tool me a while to get it but i think i got it looking ok,
heres the finial result shots

so there you go 2 parts off the tray done ready to be sanded and painted ,so thats it for the moment till next time
