Well, jamecidpedro, I put "Datsuns beat the US" because all American look at are cars and make fun of them. This Datsun came out of my beautiful little country and kicked there V8 loving a**. And to make matters worse, we beat them on US soil. Well, heres the picture of the Datsun.(Hope it comes out and you guys like it.)

ahhh, i see. you meant b110 not b210 or b310

yes, these puerto rican drag 1200's run rotary or toyota 3tc turbo motors

the car in the pic looks to be stock bodied car, but some high dollar cars are partial tube frame with fiberglass panels

btw, you aussies may not know this, but puerto rico might as well be a state of the usa

of course, there must be some corporate advantage in keeping it a unincorporated territory

re: the kp61 starlet is rwd, and it's the only starlet we got in the usa

it appears that earlier versions of the starlet were fwd, but i'm getting my info from option videos narrated in japanese, so that's not to be relied upon

Its is stock bodied. 100% original sheet meatl. It has a 13B single turbo heavily modified, a roll cage for the driver and to stiffen the chassie, parachute, and a spoiler.I know it was a Datsun but I didn't know which one. And that thing about us being a state, I think of ourselves as a free contry and not a state, but I can't say that because they could arrest me for trison. Opps! Already did.

I can understand why a lot of americans look forward to V8s. There is the old notion that bigger is better. That is why most american fast cars are mosters with V8s. There is no american monster 4 cylinder engines. Also american muscle cars are american made, so there is as much american V8 love as there is Citroen frnch love, Ferrari Italian love, Saab Sweedish love,Porsche German love...etc.
Things are changing though, curently kids are into small 4 cylinder foreign cars. Muscle cars and Harley Davidson bikes are becoming a thing of the past.
About the V8 thing, I found out that most hard core V8 guys are plain ignorant about smaller fast cars, specially older foreign cars ( not just datsuns, but other asian and european cars like Fiats, Alfas, etc ) because in part there is a lot, millions to one performance parts for older american cars as compared to older imported cars.

I am glad you showed the fans in US that Datsuns rock! I am sure many guys are thinking about building a Datto after seing your car and the other competition. Older japanese cars are dissappearing fast under the crushers because of groups of interest as I explained in my B210 saga. There is a reason why there is such a big and ignorant V8 crowd. By understanding them, it is easier to defeat them, because one thing is sure, the V8 crowd is not an inteligent crowd, as narrow minded as it can get. The import scene is much more varied and rich in posibilities.

BTW, nice 1200. Has Abel Ibarra showed face with his latest moster???

Thanks man. I feel happy knowing that I am not the only one that thinks the way I think. The import tuner scene right now is what the muscle car scene was back in the day. The only diffrence is that I trust and import car over an american car because the Japanese know what they are making and doing.
Adel Ibarra? Explain who he is.
