i can never remember if its the turb that blows or sucks or the carb that blows or sucks, but thinking about that a carbs not really gonna blow is it

umm injector and twin carbs, thats getting tricky

what is standard compression for an a-15 no mods?

maybe an a-14 head is the way to go, might have to sell the GX head (ever since i ran out of money this month ive become tight and started wanting to sell stuff )

Yep, copper gasket 2mm with GX head will do good, but if you want to start running boosts from 15-25 psi you'll have to modify the block and insert o-rings around the cylinders to keep from blowing the head gasket

a fat gasket is more likely to blow out around the cylinders, but if its made of metal or copper the problem becomes oil and coolant sealing. Its a catch 22 situation.
Metals good and usualy seal but 3 months down the track they tend to be more prone to leak.

whats o-ringing worth roughly?, do you still use a gasket with this and therefore can change compression with fat gasket? will it last shlong time?

Can do as you'll have to fix it again, just seal it with a copper sealer,
with o-ring you can use a gasket it just make it seal better under pressure

on my engine i o-ringed the block and will use a standard gasket.
and the dish in my a15 pistons has just been enlarged so it is centralised, and this is how my comp was reduced
