A little advice for you MYORGZM - spend a little more time hanging around the site learning who is who and who has done what before you make such statements Otherwise you could possibly pull your head in !!! But then again .... I thought I knew everything when I was a kid too
Cheers

MYORGZM this is a forum! I have a right to an opinion, 'I' thought it sounded expensive. Personally I wouldn't buy it but there are plenty that would consider it. The eg. I gave with my XR6t engine was an eg. that is all! as some one else said "pull your head in".

$13000
Pfffft - I'd be REAL disappointed with that result for 13K. Maybe I want too much but there would be a SR20 swinging into my engine bay with plenty of change for 4K. Wasn't this motor the one that had a coupe wrapped around it for $3500 a while back??
Cheers

now now if the guy who built it wanted to spend $13k getting it the way he wanted it thats up to him, but its only for sale for $4k. And if you take off the $1000 that the gearbox it worth, then its not that much more expensive than Dwayne's a14 turbo, but Dwayne's doesnt have a a15 with (I assume) forged internals, intercooler, geniune 130rwkw etc.
I still reckon its a fair price for what you get

"now, now"?? - Tyrie you've given me a good chuckle for the day with that phrase Sure, the site is about views, opinions, tech help and a general curiosity about 1200's and different opinions is what makes it a challenge. The more you can do, the further your money goes ..... hence my SR20 na leaning - with change! But if you have little or no idea and have to pay (usually way too much) at each step, then sure, a complete package is your only option. But for ME (and only me) the earlier post holds true - 13K in anyones money is rich for 130RWKW. Anyway that's just my two bob .....
Cheers
