ok another small update,
over the weekend i was going to do more priming but it was to dam hot to be sanding all day so had a bit of a break fron that, and started something else that i think yous should like ........
basicly i got this idea from a guy at work ,its nothing to dramatic but you know how if you have air shocks in the back of your car you can go to a servo and pump them up with there air hose thing????well this takes that idea just a little further ,
for this i need several things ,which i have almost got all the bits and pieces togethher,
you need the shocks air shocks ,im using munroe heavy duty gas air risers which seem to be doing the trick nicely,
also you need a small air compressor or 2 depending on size wieght etc etc
also the lines to the air shocks and hoses to connect it all to gether ,hose clamps fittings etc etc
ok so im going to go thru what ive done so far so you can get an idea of whats going on,
first i had to mount the air lines that connect to the shocks, this is pretty easy they just push in and screw on,then you have to hook the lines up out of the way ,i used zip ties and special locking zip ties to do this part.............

you can see the air line connected to the shock in that pic.......

there you can see the two lines connected..........

here you can see the air lines being routed to there intented location ,they are attached up under the tray bottom and ive used plastic tubing to protect them as these lines are very thin
ok so thats the shocks in and the air lines mounted and ready to hook up ,
now from here most people seem to put a t piece at the end of these lines and then mount the t piece somewhere at the rear so it is easy to access when you want to fill up the shocks ,
now im doing something slightly differnt ,im still using the t piece as it just so happens it fits into my plumbing set up rather well so im going to keep it in there, but more about the plumbing side a bit latter when i get to that,
first the air compressor ,now this is a 12v 150 psi air compressor ,it looks pretty cool 2,not that your ever going to see it but it looks pretty cool,so i decieded to mount this up under the tray on the inner left hand 1/4 panel ,placing it here keeps it well hidden and out of the way ,also it keeps the tray area a little more clear so you dont have hoses and cables running all over the tray ,and also i wanted to put it here so i did ,hahahaha ,so heres the small air compressor finally mounted after a huge effort ,this was a bit of a tight area to work in,as regards to drilling and screwing etc
sorry bout the pics they arnt to good a didnt take them as i was doing it as the dam batterys went flat so you will just have to bare with me on this part.......

that one was looking up from the bottom at it....

and another similar shot
notice the plastic tubing to protect the wiring and also the holes i drilled into the inner 1/4 were fitted with rubber grommets to protect the cables, pipes etc

ok so in that one you can see the compressor mounted, the main air tube coming off the compressor and going into the 1/4,also the wiring ube going in to the 1/4 and at the top there the 2 air hoses from the shocks going into the 1/4,
