No spray painter with any sort of warranty will paint over the top of someone elses prep work. The prep is where a good paintjob happens. Putting the colour on, is merely the icing.

I'm not trying to discourage you. I just know how Sydney painters react when people say 'they'll do the prep'.

have you thought about buying a decent spraygun and giving it a shot yourself?
surely if you feel confident enough that you can do a good job on the prep, you wont have any trouble doing the topcoat.
then you can have 100% credit for the whole paintjob.

Spray painting is easy as! 99% of the job is prep.

Buy a $100 compresser anda cheap gun and some pain and give it a go! Also goto your local libary and get some spray painting books out for a helping hand!

if you want a good paint job i advise getting it done properly by the professionals who know what they are doing and can get it done properly. i have no problem comin to your house and doing but your best bet is to leave it to pay somone who knows what they are doing and who has been doing it for years otherwise it will turn out crappy and you probably wont be happy with it mate. which in turn you will probably have to do it again
