#1 A15 turbo....
120a Posted on: 2007/3/5 12:14
Hello to all, i am thinking of putting a turbo on an a15 engine and was wondering is there a guide anywhere or do people have any pictures/helpful tips that may assist me in doing this? I know the basics like it needs to be a drawthrough system to prevent having to box the carb etc but after this my knowledge is fairly limited. i will be doing all the work myself so thats not an issue. The main things that concern me are what tubo to use and where oil feed/return pipes come from?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Ben

Get an n12 EXA or ET pulsar motor, should go nicely in your 120a.

Are they A series engines? Cos if not it wont match up to the gearbox. The 120A's are front wheel drive and have the odd gearbox under the engine setup.

Oh right I was forgetting where you are. They have an E15 motor, efi and turbo standard. It is a front wheel drive motor thats why i suggested it, possibly whole motor+gearbox would go in with less effort than fabricating an A-series turbo kit. But its not much use if you didnt get them over there

No, Didnt get them here

Standard front wheel drive setups will not fit into the 120A as they are very narrow. Hence the pain in the arse underslung box . Ive been round many a scrapyard with my trusty tape measure just in case tho.
