Who ever gets this car had better be someone that is going to give it the respect it deserves and demands! well yes i hope that this is the case !,i havnt kept a log on the amount of hours that i have put in already because it would be absolutley massive!!!! if you consider that i usualy work friday night ,all day saturday, that is 8 in the morning to around 5 or 6 and then about half of sunday, and some times a few hours a night each day of the week ,since i got the ute,so the amount of hours work that has gone in all ready is huge, and thats not mentioning the amount of money i have also spent allready , ive kept a detailed log of exactly the mounts spent and what was brought , so at the end i will know how much this hole restoration has cost!!,,also the little custom things that are being done that im sure some one else could probably do but ,would they go to the effort that i have??? so yes i really hope that the new owner fully apreciates it and also keeps really good care of it too !! thanks for the comment

hey evil betty, firstly the job u are is doing awsome, and i am also currently prepareing my datto for spraying, just got to fire a few questions at ya. um i have been sanding back the paint, but would it be quicker to use paint strippers and is it hard, and laslty the datto has so stock paint on it now so do just sand back to take off gloss or right to bear metal. cheers mate and keep up the work

cheers there mate, getting ready for paint huh, well what you do at this point all depends on what you are looking for in the finished product,if you just want to paint it and not really worryed to much about dents of scratches or what ever then i would suggest priming the hole car from where you are at with a good 2 pak primer, but if you are really after a good quailty finish then yes by all means stripp the paint back to metal, paint stripper will work well or if you can get sand blasted or bead blasted better, but if not paint stripper does the job well ive gone thru the process in my thread somewhere mits a bit messy but can really speed things up if your not to keen on spending hours and hours sanding back the old paint, also it isnt hard just a little messy, small tip if you choose to do this sabd the area your stripping with 36 or 40 grit first this alows the stripper to really bite in and get to the lower levels of old paint ,
cheers
