well now i came up with this idea ages ago but never said anything about it due to the response i got from the scketch i done of the tray area ,

so basicly this is a sign that is going to be put in the tray into a raised floor section,

i thought about and thought about a way to do it but couldnt come up with a simple effective way untill a few weeks ago when came across a neon sign on ebay that i liked, how ever it wasnt a datsun sign it was a heavy metal band sign i think from memory ????any way it sparked the idea and now its all underway ,so basicly its the same thing thats on the cover ........

how cool is that!!!!!

but its going to be lighted with a neon type light ,this is where its going just in case yous cant remember............

and so after a bit of searching i found someone to custom make me my own dastun sign to the size i wanted,it came all the way from singapore i think ,well some here in china ,and i have to say they did a bloody great job on it exactly what i asked for ,its a piece of 1/4 thick acrylic with the letters and lines carved into the back of it,so when you light it up the light reflects the carved letters, pretty dam cool i think(suck on that pimp my ride!!!)

so heres the start of this little side piece....

here we go so i got the sign( fully sick)
next i needed a light so went searching but unfortunatley couldnt find what i was really after so had to settle for the one i got,

so this light isnt a neon but close to it,it has leds in it so there is close to no heat produced and also it draws a very low current...........

heres a comparison of my shoe to the sign just to give you an idea of the size.....

ive started building the frame basicly i just built around the light and the sign
