I love the Watanabe wheels in your second post mate. Fit the 15's but hang onto the Watanabes so you can refit them later.

Yeah if I had heaps of dosh importing a set would be nice, but since I am getting sick of the look and just looking for a change, thought I'd look at getting the 15's. I will still keep the old wats and use them now and again. But for the moment the wats are stay on, as I have to get spacers made up to suit the 15's.

Best of both worlds I guess!!

Now take a good look at the Watinabee's & repeat after me.
"Something with class is always in style"

Next, take a look at the others & have a think about how much time, money & effort it will take to do a dodgey install of these. Remember too that trendy fads come & go, but like the Datsun itself, real class lives on & on & on [etc.]

In the end, you'll come back to the Watinabees. They're the right wheel for the times, ... all the time.
Just an opinion.

LOL you always put a smile on my face old man....

Like I said, just abit sick of the "look" of the wats at the moment, so just playing around, as I always do. I probably will never sell the wats, as I do still like them on the car, as like other have said it suits it. I will not be a dodgey install or set up of the 15's. But there maybe another option in the wind.......

What motor is in the car? Bigger wheels (as in to big) often trash the handling as well as acting like giant flywheels , there by bogging the thing off corners. I'm a vintage guy so you know what I like. I would stay away from the new wheels strictly based on them altering performance.

Spacers = Illegal = dodgy install

the spacers are just an extra hassle , that can ruin your handling.

How can spacers ruin handling? Why are they dodgey (apart from being illegal?).

I'm running some 8mm spacers and would like to know any potential dangers.

I reckon they'd look good if you were willing to go to all that effort but wouldn't you need to flair your guards to make them fit?
And I think they make your car look pretty high and would look a lot better if you lowered it at the front at least.
