I was just wondering if 120Ys actually came with such luxury features as carpet in the back and a plasic bit/carpet/something around the handbrake.
I just looked at pulling these bits out of another car to put in mine and it didn't have them either

I recently saw a 120y with a nicer interior than mine. Seats with a proper headrests, and houndstooth pattern upolsted seats, like you see in some of the dat1000 brochure pics.

I don't now about what differnt trim levels that 120ys had (have), the one i saw was a few years younger.

he's something to look out for: if the back seating area on your 120y (aka rear footweel) has rivit like things in the corners with sturdy screws in them then you are meant to have carpet in there. They are for the clips in the carpet

I'll have a look for the rivety things and see if it came carpeted.
I stuck some sound deadening carpet stuff on the floor and some mats over the top but it didnt seem to reduce driving noise and wasnt that neat. So for now I think I'll just spray the metal black and go stripped interior style yo till some bits turn up.

What I was thinking of doing was buying one of those moulded carpet sets I've seen on the "bay" and chopping it up so it's easier to remove. Mainly just put a big slit on the section that sits on the transmission tunnel and seperate the front and back

When i got my first 120y in1975 it came with carpet in front and back as well as a radio as standard if my few remaining brain cells serve me right and plastic around the hand brake which was a plus for japanies cars above aussie models which you had to pay extra for meaning carpet and radio.
